InterLibrary Loans
You may request materials from libraries outside of CLEVNET through Interlibrary Loan. Whenever possible, we will try to obtain these items at no cost. Please note that some lending libraries charge small fees for their materials. If the total fees exceed $15, you are responsible for paying the amount over that limit.
To place an Interlibrary Loan request, please contact the Reference Desk at 216-991-2030 and select option 6. A staff member will search for the item in the OCLC WorldShare catalog and submit the request on your behalf.
If the lending institution approves the request and ships the material, staff will notify you when it is ready for pickup. Please be aware that Interlibrary Loan requests do not appear in your CLEVNET account. If you request an item through InterLibrary Loans but do not pick it up once it arrives, a small handling fee may be applied.
Loan periods for ILL materials are determined by the owning institution. Renewals are generally not permitted.
ILL materials must be returned to the Check Out Desk.
