Friends of the Shaker Library is a vibrant organization of dedicated volunteers who proudly donate their time to supporting Shaker Library and literacy for all.
The Friends fund library-sponsored programs, such as author and illustrator visits, poetry readings, and the popular Summer Reading Program for families.
Volunteers are welcome to sort books, set-up for the book sale, and to work during sale hours. Book Sales are held in the fall and spring (though exact dates depend on seasonal holidays).
