Our Actions

When it comes to environmental, financial, and social responsibility, we are acting by:

  •  Maintaining an active Staff Green Team
  • Conducting a waste audit with Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District
  • Reusing boxes and packaging, including staff-donated materials
  • Including waste reduction / mitigation in our program planning
  • Recycling eWaste through RET3, a local non-profit
  • Using BPA- and BPS- free thermal receipt paper
  • Regularly reviewing 5+ year financial forecasts
  • Tracking our utilities usage to catch problems early and keep costs down
  • Partnering in Forward Together with the City and Schools
  • Becoming a drop-off location for the City's compost program through Rust Belt Riders
  • Conducting a Diversity Audit of our collection
  • Actively engaging in Restorative Practices
  • Being a KultureCity Certified Sensory Inclusive Venue
