Spring Book Sale 2026
April 29 - May 3
Mark your calendars! The Friends of the Shaker Library are hosting their Spring Book Sale on the second floor of Main Library the last week of April and first week of May.
The sale offers thousands of books in well-organized categories at prices as low as 50¢. All proceeds fund library programming for all ages, including Summer Reading.
The Spring Book Sale hours are as follows:
- Wednesday, April 29, 4 - 8 p.m.
Friends’ Preview Night: Friends members get first dibs on book bargains. Not a Friend? Join at the door. - Thursday, April 30, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Friday, May 1, 12 - 4 p.m.
- Saturday, May 2, 12 - 4 p.m.
- Sunday, May 3, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Bag Sale Sunday: Fill a bag of books for $8. Items in the Specials Room are half price.
