You asked for a reading challenge for adults. We listened.
This year, Shaker Library invites you to expand your literary horizons with our 2026 Reading Challenge, a mix of fun book prompts, library resources, branded swag, and a midsummer celebration!
Instructions
Pick up a bingo board at either library branch or visit www.shakerlibrary.beanstack.org to get started.
Mark off a square every time you finish a book or complete an activity. One book can be applied to more than one bingo square.
Complete rows horizontally, vertically, and diagonally to get a Bingo.
Prizes
- Complete one bingo and select a free book from the Friends of the Library Neverending Book Sale.
- Complete three bingos for a bumper magnet or sticker of your choice.
- Fill the whole board by February 1, 2027 and take home the grand prize, a coveted Shaker Library mug adorned with our beautiful new logo.
Midsummer Celebration
Save the date for a midsummer celebration at Bertram Woods to share favorite reads and mingle with fellow readers on Wednesday, July 8 at 7 p.m.
